Our journey

Dyson’s story in Singapore began in 2004 when we invested in setting up a motor factory. Driven by our ambition to set new standards in innovation and manufacturing, we produced the first generation of the Dyson Hyperdymium motor which sits at the heart of our Dyson machines.

Since then, we expanded our presence in Singapore, establishing our global headquarters here in 2019. It marked an exciting new chapter in Dyson’s continued growth in Singapore, sitting at the centre of our ambitions to enter entirely new fields of research and develop a new generation of high-performing technology products with increasing intelligence.

Dyson operates across three campuses in Singapore, with our global headquarters at St James Power Station, alongside the Singapore Technology Centre and Singapore Advanced Manufacturing (SAM).
