About The Role:

 

We're searching for a Spares Forecasting Manager ready to drive our forecasting evolution—from manual practices to a data-led, parameter-tuned future. You'll oversee the development and adaptation of advanced forecasting models, ensuring they're globally aligned and locally agile. The outcome? Customers delighted by finding the right spare, exactly where and when they need it. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Spares Demand Forecasting 
    Transition the forecasting function from manual methods to a robust, data-driven process using best-in-class analytics and technology. 

  • Own and Optimise Data Models 
    Oversee statistical and machine-learning models; adjust parameters in response to shifting demand signals, new product introductions, and business priorities. Ensure continuous improvement and scalability. 

  • Global Implementation 
    Standardise and deploy forecasting models and practices across regions. Enable local teams to tune parameters within a central framework to maximise both accuracy and responsiveness. 

  • Achieve Forecast Accuracy 
    Set and track KPIs for forecast accuracy. Rapidly analyse deviations—correct root causes, update models, and communicate learnings. 

Cross-functional Collaboration 
Engage with IT, supply chain, commercial, and regional service teams to ensure data availability, model alignment, and process adoption. 

  • Delight the Customer 
    Ensure parts are forecasted and positioned so that customers receive the right spare, at the right time, in the right place—every time. 

 

About You 

  • Experience managing demand forecasting, planning, or analytics in a global business. 

  • Strong grasp of forecasting & data tools. 

  • Track record of shifting functions from manual to automated/data-driven. 

  • Technical literacy: comfortable shaping, tuning, and explaining statistical or machine-learning models. 

  • Analytical, process-driven, collaborative, and focused on measurable results—especially forecast accuracy. 

  • Obsessive about customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
