About us

At Dyson IT, we aim for excellence in engineering and technology. Our team supports the business with robust IT architecture, effective data management, and continuous innovation. We're looking for curious minds ready to learn, problem-solve, and help us grow.

About the role

As a Solution Architect Intern, you'll support the GSF organisation (covering planning, manufacturing, supply chain, HR & finance functions) and its architecture practices. You’ll learn about solution architecture, collaborate on projects, and help design and document new systems while gaining hands-on experience in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior architects and project teams from project planning to completion.

  • Help document architecture models, technology strategies, and roadmaps.

  • Participate in architecture, design and project meetings—learn from experts and contribute your ideas.

  • Support the creation and improvement of systems, processes, policies, and procedures with guidance.

  • Learn and apply industry architecture frameworks and best practices to real-world problems.

About you

  • Currently completing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field.

  • Academic projects or coursework related to technology, systems, or architecture are an advantage but not required.

  • You’re a self-starter who enjoys new challenges and learning on the job. You’re not afraid to ask questions, make suggestions, and seek out opportunities to grow. You want to help Dyson drive positive change and deliver results.

  • Strong interest in IT architecture, problem-solving and improving how things work.

  • Good communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and approaches.

  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a desire to develop skills and innovate.

  • Ability to work well in a team, listen to feedback, and adapt.

  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and creativity in tackling challenges.

  • Motivation to understand business problems and explore solutions.

  • Awareness of global trends, technology, or GSF topics (not compulsory).

  • Interest in standards/frameworks like TOGAF.
