About the Team
The Product Attributes & Satisfaction team puts the user and the product at the centre of every decision. We partner with Engineering, Commercial and Quality teams globally, using consumer insight and technical understanding to shape product definition, validate performance, and monitor satisfaction once products reach the market.
About the Role
This role blends deep product insight expertise with strong engineering and systems competency. You will operate at the intersection of consumer understanding and technical product development, ensuring that user needs are translated into clear, actionable direction and robust product definition.
While the weighting of the role is toward product insights, success requires the engineering logic, systems thinking, and rigour.
You will provide programme‑level leadership, act as the voice of authority for product satisfaction, and shape how Dyson defines, validates, and delivers user‑centric performance across categories.

- Use engineering and systems skills to interrogate trade‑offs, identify risks, and guide teams toward solutions that delight users without compromising technical feasibility.
- Lead cross‑functional alignment when user experience and engineering constraints conflict.
Lead Product Validation
- Design, lead, and optimise global validation trials to confirm attribute targets and product readiness.
- Ensure trials are ethical, robust, and designed to answer critical product questions despite prototype maturity, timelines or budget constraints.
- Integrate engineering behaviour, trial data, and user response to validate that we have built the right product.
Voice of Authority
- Serve as the authoritative voice for product satisfaction within your programme.
- Represent the team confidently in senior stakeholder reviews, programme checkpoints, and technical decisions.
- Bring clarity to complex issues through strong evidence, systems‑level reasoning, and clear communication.
Leadership & Ways of Working
