About The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, driven and motivated individual, who is passionate about retail and steadfast about merchandising standards. Partnering with the Global Retail Experience Design and VM/ Marketing teams in the market, this role will focus on implementing and maintaining the VM standards across retail stores to ensure a consistent and brand-appropriate in-store experience. This includes localization, collecting market feedback, and ensuring the “last mile” of delivery aligns with the strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive cascade and monitoring of the global VM standards and quality (photos, remote monitoring etc) to ensure adherence to VM standards.
Setup regular feedback to Design teams on market needs and performance.
Serve as the main point of contact on visual merchandising matters between markets and global teams.
Advocate on markets' behalf for local adaptation, gather feedback, and escalate local requirements to Retail Design and Event Design teams.
Deliver VM training in partnership with Global Retail Design VM to market/store level and share best practices.
Collaborate locally with Market VM leads and Store Managers to review VM planograms and plans in line with design intention and ensure global-local alignment.
Monitor local competitor activity and consumer trends, test retail innovations , and share relevant findings or successes with global teams.
Work closely with the Performance team to interpret VM & customer touchpoints.
Share results with Retail Design VM and implement improvement plans based on insights.
Oversee the rollout of new VM initiatives for openings and refurbishments at market level, ensuring delivery meets guidelines and local requirements.
About You:
Required Skills and Experience:
Visual Merchandising Expertise
Advanced knowledge of retail VM principles (layout, zoning, display techniques, lighting, fixtures).
Ability to translate brand guidelines into compelling in-store execution.
Awareness of current market trends and competitor VM best practices.
Project Management
Strong organizational skills—able to manage multiple projects globally.
Experience creating roll-out plans, timelines, and tracking milestones across markets.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Confidence in presenting ideas and collaborating with internal teams (Retail, Marketing, Training) and external vendors (agencies, contractors).
Training & Coaching
Experience developing and delivering engaging VM training content (workshops, e-learning, on-site sessions).
Ongoing support for market VM teams to ensure compliance and uplift standards.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to assess, analyze, and interpret VM effectiveness using KPIs, compliance audits, and shopper insight data.
Proactive approach to troubleshooting store compliance or standards issues.
Global & Cultural Awareness
Understanding of cultural nuances and local shopper behaviors affecting VM globally.
Flexibility to adapt brand standards for local market needs without compromising global consistency.
